Lists, figures, tables, extracts, and notes sections can complicate a scholarly text. I make sure the text design deals with such challenges gracefully, putting the experience of the reader first.

Cover DesignA cover is the reader's first encounter with the book's concerns and interests, and must make the impression the author wants. I work closely with authors and publishers to come to a concept that illustrates the themes and tone of the text while making an aesthetic impact.

Custom LetterpressDue to the amount of time and level of care involved in its creation, a letterpress document can provide a flourish and cherished take-home gift to a special event. At the Western New York Book Arts Center, I've made broadsides for numerous events, including poetry readings and weddings.
